What a manic start to golfing in 2020 it has been. I am sure that all of you as lovers of golf in Jakarta & Bali have been out and about enjoying the game we sometimes see as our lasting passion.
T-Drivers Social Golf Club Indonesia, are well into our second full year providing access to the best golf courses in Indonesia to our members and guests . Best of all, they get this at greatly reduced rates. This continues our commitment to keeping social golf in Indonesia social. Social Golf in Jakarta & Bali could not be a better place to enjoy social golf.
As a club, we have once again been able to release a schedule of 5 games of golf in Jakarta / Bogor, and the same for golfers in Bali. We pride ourselves, on being able to listen to our members wishes, and have adjusted our schedule where possible to meet their requests. Of course, it is always better to get a group of guys out and about the fairways, rather than have a scheduled day with no golfers at all.
That being said, unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic, has also placed a hold somewhat on our members golfing activities. Even with social restrictions in place, we do understand the importance of maintaining an active exercise routine. So where allowed, we are still offering members the chance to get out on the golf course, our weekly schedule is still available for those who want to head out for a hit.
We know, these times are extremely difficult for not only ourselves, but, for those who are deeply impacted with this current environment. T-Drivers continues to support our official home course Riverside Golf Club in Cimmangis. Recently, our members took part in a charity event, which was promoted by Riverside GC. Part of the golfing fee, went to providing support to the ground maintenance crews. These are the men and woman, who work tirelessly to keep the course in such magnificent shape. Hats off to you all. Great for social golf Jakarta / Bogor to support these events.
T-Drivers, will continue to support Riverside throughout the Covid-19 issue, with a portion of the competition fees being paid to the club to help those staff affected by the current situation.
It is not known how long the restrictions on golf and other social activities will remain in place, but we all wish that the current pandemic will be resolved soon and we can all go back to enjoying our wonderful game in larger numbers.
